On October 9th, as part of the Annual Women’s Day Mission Project, 15 women of Salem fellowshipped with one another by preparing and cooking lunch for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. We had the honor and privilege of providing a meal, consisting of chicken and waffles, fresh strawberries and blueberries, breadsticks, salad with chickpeas, cranberries, carrots, cucumbers, and tomatoes, chocolate chip and sugar cookies along with bottles water and juice. “Everyone was so excited about those chicken & waffles”, said Daniele Starfield, Volunteer Coordinator. “This is the most we’ve seen of our families at lunchtime. We deeply appreciate your generosity and support.”
